I cannot imagine why I missed seeing this presentation at ULearn 08. I also feel fortunate that you have created a really informative blog which enables teachers to revisit some of the finer points of blogging. There are some reminders for us to reconsider as we continue our blogging journey and I hope this blog will continue to grow with us too.
Thanks for all the hard work that you have put into this for not only yourself but us as teachers.

Why this blog???

Kia ora,
Welcome to Blogging 101, all you will need to know about setting up a blogging and basic use. Along the journey I will provide some food for thought, tricks and tips.
Hope you find them useful.

My goal is to research and explore the possibilities of blogs as a platform for ECE and share my findings using the medium of blogging.
My reasoning is this; I believe we (ECE) have only just begun exploring how blogs can be made use of. We have barely touched the sides so to speak. Also there is the possibility that another platform or interface may be equally as useful if not better. Therefore my goal this year (2009) is to research and report back to those who are interested, my readers (please let there be more an one ;-)
